Privacy policy

This page is a translation of the French privacy policy. If the two differ, the French version prevails.

In short

  • The site sets no cookies. The only things saved in your browser are your language and your display currency (euro or dollar): they stay on your device and are never sent to us.
  • You have no account to create and no form to fill in.
  • Audience measurement is done without cookies and without individual tracking.
  • We will never ask for your Steam API key, your Steam login details or your authentication codes.

Data processed

Host's technical logs

Like any website, the host (Cloudflare, Inc.) processes technical data when you visit: IP address, browser type, page requested, date and time. This data is used to deliver the pages, keep the service secure (protection against attacks) and fix errors. Legal basis: the publisher's legitimate interest in providing a safe, working site.

Audience measurement

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and page views. According to Cloudflare, this tool uses neither cookies nor local storage and does not try to identify visitors or follow them from one site to another. We only see overall statistics (number of visits, most viewed pages, country, device type). No consent is therefore requested.

Display preferences (language and currency)

On your first visit, the site picks the language from the country associated with your connection, as reported by our host (Cloudflare, Inc.): French in French-speaking countries, English elsewhere. That country is neither stored nor passed on to anyone; only the resulting language is kept in your browser's local storage. You can change it at any time in the "Language & Currency" menu, and your choice then takes priority over the country.

If you choose a currency in that menu, or switch language, the currency on display is saved in the same way so that prices stay in that currency from one page to the next.

This information is not personal data, is not sent to our servers and is not used for anything else. You can delete it at any time by clearing your browser's site data.

Emails

If you write to us, we use your address and your message only to reply to you. They are kept for a maximum of 12 months after the last exchange.

What we do not do

  • No targeted advertising, no reselling of data, no profiling.
  • No embedded social networks (no "Like" button spying on you).
  • No fonts or scripts loaded from Google.

When you click through to a marketplace

By clicking a link to a marketplace, you leave ClutchSkin. The destination site may then set its own cookies, in particular to recognise that you came from us (affiliate link). That processing falls under the privacy policy of the marketplace concerned.

Transfers outside the European Union

The host Cloudflare, Inc. is a US company that may process technical data outside the European Union. Cloudflare states that it covers these transfers with safeguards provided for by the GDPR (standard contractual clauses and participation in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework).

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, object to and restrict the processing of data concerning you. To exercise these rights, write to contact@clutchskin.gg. If you believe your rights are not being respected, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (www.cnil.fr).
